Attorney Profile

Lance J. FanucciIn April of 2002, I decided to take a chance and open a private law practice in my hometown of Peckville, located just ten minutes outside of Scranton, PA. My primary areas of practice are criminal defense, divorce, custody, support, protection from abuse, personal injury, real estate, and, wills and estates.

I brought to my practice five years of experience as a Lackawanna County Assistant District Attorney. While with the District Attorney’s Office, I was a member of the office’s Domestic Violence Unit, and the Lackawanna County Domestic Violence Task Force. I was also a statewide instructor and lecturer for the Pennsylvania District Attorneys’ Association, the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence, the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency, and the Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officers’ Education and Training Commission. Additionally, I was an instructor at the Lackawanna College Police Academy.

Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, I was a law clerk for the Lackawanna County Family Court. Working under former President Judge Chester T. Harhut, I practiced in a wide range of domestic law issues, including: divorce, custody, support, dependency, and protection from abuse. I have also received training and certification in Advanced Conflict Resolution and Mediation.

I am graduate of Scranton Prep, the University of Rochester, and Widener University School of Law.

I was born and raised in Northeast Pennsylvania. I have practiced here since 1996. I know the people, and I know the courts. Let my experience in advocacy and trial practice work for you.
